AP SGPCET  application form 2018-2019 

APSWREIS (AP Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society) has published the SGPCET 2018/ Samkhema Gurukula Patasalala Common Entrance Test 2018 notification for admission into V class in APSW/ APTW / MJPAPBCW Residential Schools for the academic year 2018-2018. Applications are invited for admission into Class V in all APSWR Educational Institutions, AP Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions and MJPAP Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions across the State.



SGPCET – 2018 Admission Test for fifth Class APSWREIS, APTWREIS and MJPAPBCWREIS:

I. AP Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions:
1. A total No. of 12,000 seats are available in V Class of (174) SW Residential Schools throughout the State of Andhra Pradesh.
2. List of institutions is enclosed at Annexure-A

Facilities provided toAPSWR/APTWR/MJPAPBCWR Residential School Students:

The following facilities will be provided to the students
1. Medium of instruction is English.
2. Daily routine starts at 5.00A.M with Yoga / Physical Exercise.
3. Emphasis on Co-curricular, Extra Curricular and Games & sports in the evening.
4. Free Education, Free boarding and lodging.
5. 4-pairs of Uniforms, 2-pairs of shoes, 3-pairs of socks, belt & tie for each student.
6. Computer Labs & Science labs.
7. Cosmetic charges.
8. Hair cutting charges for boy students.
9. Computer Education
10. Vocational Education

Eligibility Criteria for admission in APSW Residential Educational Institutions:
Age limit:
1. SC / ST students should have born between 01.09.2005 to 31.08.2009.
2. OC / BC / SC-Converted Christians (BC-C) should have born between 01.09.2006 to 31.08.2008.



Educational Qualifications:

1. During the year 2017-18 candidates must be studying 4th class in a Government school or in a school recognized by Govt .of A.P.

Parental Annual Income:
The parental income should not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- per annum as per the latest income certificate issued by the Competent authority

Locality:
The students are eligible to apply for a school in their native district only. The Native District of the candidate means the place where the student studied for a period of two years in Class 3rd and/or 4th i.e. during 2016-17 & 2017-18 in schools recognized by Govt.of A.P. or native place as certified by the competent authority.

Reservation followed in APSWR Institutions:
a) The reservation pattern in all the institutions will be SC-75%, SC Converted Christians -12%, ST-6%, BC-5% and others – 2%.

b) Spl.Categories:
i) 15% of seats in APSWR Schools in every caste group are reserved for the children who are withdrawn from Hazardous industries, Bonded labour, Jogins, Basavins, Victims of Atrocities, Orphans due to natural calamities, Rape victims, Children of Armed Personnel.
ii) 3% of total seats are reserved for Physically Challenged children.
c) The left over vacancies in any category will be filled by SC Candidates as per merit.

II. A.P.Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions:
1. Approximately 2,760 seats are available in V Class of (35) TW Residential Schools throughout the State of Andhra Pradesh.
2. The institution-wise seats available for Boys & Girls are available in the Annexure-B

Eligibility Criteria for admission in APTW Residential Educational Institutions:
Age limit:
a) SC/ST should have born between 01.09.2005 and 31.08.2009.
b) BC/OC Candidates should have born between 01.09.2007 and 31.08.2009

Educational Qualifications:
During the year 2017-18 candidates must be studying 4th class in a Government school or in a school recognized by Govt.of A.P.

Parental Annual Income:
The annual Income of the parent shall not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- for admission into any TW Residential Schools, as per the latest income certificate issued by the Competent authority.

Locality:
The students are eligible to apply for a school in their native district only. The Native District of the candidate means the place where the student studied for a period of two years in Class 3rd and/or 4th i.e. during 2015-16 & 2016-17 or native place as certified by the competent authority.

Reservation followed in APTWR Institutions:
78% of seats reserved for ST community including PTGs, OC (2%), BC(5%),SC (12%), and AEQ(3%).

III. MJPAP Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions:
1. A total No.of 3,360 seats are available in V Class of (39) MJPAP Backward Classes Welfare Residential Schools throughout the State of Andhra Pradesh.
2. The institution-wise seats available for Boys & Girls are shown in the Annexure-C. In certain schools, the students of other districts also eligible for admission.

Reservation followed in MJPAP BCWR Institutions:
a) For BC Residential Schools:
The reservation pattern will be EBC/OC-2%, BC-A -20%, BC-B -28%, BC-C -3%, BC-D -19%, BC-E -4%, SC – 15%, ST-6%, orphans – 3%.
b) For Fishermen Schools:
The reservation pattern will be EBC/OC-1%, BC-A -7%, BC-B -10%, BC-C -1%, BC-D -7%, BC-E -4%, SC – 15%, ST-6%, orphans – 3%. Children of FisherMen-46%
The left over vacancies in any category will be filled by BC Candidates as per merit.

Age limit:
a. SC / ST students should have born between 01.09.2004 to 31.08.2008.


b. BC / EBC and OC students should have born between 01.09.2006 to 31.08.2008.

How to apply for SGPCET 2018:
Submission of Applications:
a) All the students who are seeking admission into class V in APSWR/APTWR/MJPAPBCWR Institutions for the year 2018-19 should apply online through any internet center or at help desk of any APSWR Institution/APTWR Institution/MJPAPBCWR Institution from to
b) The student should clearly mention the school to which he/she wants to join i.e., APSWR / APTWR /MJPAPBCWR while submitting the application.
c) There is no registration fee for submission of application.
d) The student should mention clearly the school opted in the application during submission of online application.
e) The candidates are responsible for any wrong entries made during the submission of applications through online. No corrections will be entertained/taken into consideration once Hall Tickets are generated and at the time of admission. The candidates may apply another application with correct information for generating Hall tickets.



SGPCET 2018 Hall ticket :

The applicants can take print out of hall ticket after submission of the application and the same has to be produced at the examination center for his/her personal identification.
Date of Admission test and other details:
a) The test will be held on from 11.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. for maximum marks of 50
b) Admission test will be held in the subjects viz., Telugu, English, Mathematics and Environmental Science based on the State Syllabus of class IV of A.P. State Government.
c) The questions will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions) and will be in English/Telugu Medium. Test will be conducted in the selected centers of the district.
d) The students may choose any one of the examination center as per their convenience in the State..
e) The examination centers are shown in Annexure-D

The procedure of selection for SGPCET 2018:
a) Admission will be given as per merit obtained in SGPCET(Common Entrance Test)- 2018 and as per the choice of the student.
b) The student may opt for more than one school as per their performance.
c) The Convener/Co-coordinator has right to reject the admission, if the candidate is found ineligible or the information furnished while submitting the online application is found wrong.
d) If same rank is secured by more than one candidate then priority will be given to the student of higher age. If the age is also found same, then priority will be given to the student with higher marks in Maths. If the age and Marks secured in Maths is also found same, then marks obtained in Environmental Science will be taken into consideration.
