TS Dietcet 2016 Eligibility-Telangana Deecet Qualifications Educational Qualifications,Age limit:TS/Telangana Dietcet 2015 Online applications for Category-A seats (Convenor Quota) are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into two year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed.,) in Government District Institutes of Educational Training (DIETs) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state to be conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Telangana on Sunday, 9th August 2015 in all 10 Districts of the State.Qualification of  Dietcet 2015 for appear examination is as follows

TS Deecet 2015 Eligibility Criteria for admission

  • A. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
  • B. The candidate should satisfy Local/Non-Local Status requirements as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
  • C. Candidate should have obtained a rank in DEECET 2015 and should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed.
  • D. Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 17 years as on 01-09-2015. There is no upper age limit.
  • E. Educational Qualifications:

    I. The candidate who passed or appeared for the 10+2 Final Examinations (qualifying examination) March-2015 or its equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test. But they should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.

    II. The candidate should have secured 50 percent of marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall, however, be 45 percent.’

    Note: The candidates who passed Intermediate examination with vocational course(s) are not eligible.
  • F. Qualifying marks: Candidates belonging to “OC” and “BC” communities shall secure at least 35 percent marks in DEECET for assigning rank in the CET. However there shall be no minimum qualifying marks in respect of SC/ST candidates for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories.

A Common Entrance Test, designated as AP Education Common Entrance Test-2015 (APEd.CET-2015) will be conducted by the CONVENER, APEd.CET-2015, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission in to B.Ed (Two years) Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2015-2016.

AP Ed.Cet 2015 Web Options Process

  1. The options selection page contains two tables ◦Colleges, courses and Coursetype on the lefthand side of the page.

    ◦Selected options in the order of priority on the righthand side.
  2. Enter Hall Ticket Number, Registration No, Password and Date of Birth on the top.

    If everything you entered is correct, List of available colleges, courses, course type combinations are shown in the lefthand side table. You can filter the list in two ways by ◦District.
    ◦Starting letter of the college code(short code of 4 letters).
  3. To select the option: click on the college and course on the lefthand side table and click ADD button. An alert box will pop up asking confirmation to add the option. The selected college will be added to options table on the right hand side as last option.
  4. To delete the option: Select an option and click "Delete" Button. The selected option will be deleted and the options will be renumbered automatically.
  5. To change the priority: Select the option whose priority you want to change, drag and drop at the required place. The options will be renumbered automatically. (OR) Select the option and press the UP/DOWN arrow buttons present in between the tables to move up/down one level.
  6. To Save the options: Click the SAVE button in order to save the options in the server. After clicking, the SAVE button, a window prompts for PASSWORD. One Time Password(OTP) would be sent to your mobile which is valid for 15mins only. If the password is correct, then you will land onto a new page where all your options along with priority will be displayed.
  7. Print Order of Preference of Options: You can print order of preference of options once you SAVE the options. You can also take a printout of the options from Webcounselling Details Menu and also from Home Page.
