TS ICET 2016 Online Application TSICET Notification:In terms of orders issued by the Government of Telangana State and the proceedings by Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad, online applications are invited for appearance at the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test for admission into 1st year MBA/MCA Degree Courses for the academic year 2016-2017 in the following universities and their affiliated colleges offering MBA/MCA Programmes.

TS ICET 2016 Eligibility

a) The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date (as per G.O. Ms. No. 25, dt: 19.03.2004 & G.O.Ms.No.108, Higher Education Department, dated 30-7-2005 and its amendments). 

b) The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.

c) The candidates seeking admission - 

• i) For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration. 
• ii) For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level.d) As per the latest AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2016-17, eligibility criteria for admission into MBA and MCA courses is 50% (45% for reserved categories) of marks at the qualifying examination. Candidates shall fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in relevent GOs at the time of admissions. 

e) The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC. 

f) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TSICET-2016. 

g) Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies. h) Qualifying marks in TSICET-2016 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.

TS ICET 2016 Instructions to Candidates

1. Candidates indulging in Impersonation are liable for prosecution, inviting a punishment of imprisonment for 3 to 7 years with or without fine ranging from ` 5,000/- to ` 20,000/-

2. The Convener, TSICET-2016 reserves the right to reject the application of the candidate at any stage if;

• (a) the candidate fails to satisfy the eligibility conditions, and 
• (b) any false or incorrect information is furnished in online application. No correspondence for whatsoever reason will be entertained with regard to rejection of application. 

3. Any change whatsoever including that of Caste/Community/Status of category and regional centre claimed in the Online application form will not be permitted once the form is registered with the Convener. As per G.O.Ms. No. 58 Social Welfare Dept., Govt. of A.P. Dt. 12.5.1998, the candidates claiming admission into this course under reserved quota meant for SC, ST and BC are required to produce Integrated Community Certificate issued by the competent authority.

4. MEDIUM OF TEST: English only for Section-C and English & Telugu for Section-A & Section-B of the question paper.

5. TSICET RESULTS

• a) Qualifying Marks for TSICET-2016: The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 50 marks out of total 200 marks). However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed. 
• b) Ranking: Candidates will be given State-wide ranks in the order of merit at the TSICET - 2016. For the preparation of merit list, in case more than one student scores the same ranks at TSICET, the tie will be resolved as follows: 
  
  
  (i) By considering the marks scored in Section-A
  (ii) If the tie persists, marks obtained by a student in Section-B will be taken into consideration.
  (iii) If the tie still persists, the tie will be resolved by taking into account the age of the candidate giving the older candidate Priority.
  c) Rank obtained in TSICET-2016 is valid for admission into MBA/MCA Course (Full Time / Part Time / Evening / Distance Mode) of all universities in Telangana State for the academic year 2016-2017 only.
• d) Evaluation: Every care will be taken to avoid errors in the evaluation, checking, scrutiny, tabulation and ranking. However, request for re-verification will be entertained on payment of ` 1,000/- and for Photostat copy ` 2,000/- by D.D. drawn in favour of the Convener, TSICET – 2016 (payable at Warangal drawn on any Nationalized Bank), within fifteen days from the date of declaration of results. After this date no request will be entertained. 

6. The OMR answer scripts of candidates appearing the TSICET-2016 will be preserved for six months from the date of announcement of TSICET-2016 results.

7. The conduct of TSICET-2016 is subject to orders and instructions issued from time to time by the Government of Telangana and Telangana State Council of Higher Education.

8. All disputes arising out of any matter concerning TSICET-2016 shall be subject to the jurisdiction of AP High Court only. In such disputes, only the Convener, TSICET-2016 and the Secretary, TSCHE, Hyderabad can be impleaded as respondents.

TS PGECET 2016 Instructions to Candidates

1. Candidates are required to apply for TSPGECET 2016 test through Online only (printed hardcopy of the applications will not be accepted).
2. The application/ registration fee for the test is Rs. 800/- (Rs 400/- in case of SC/ST). In case a candidate wants to appear for more than one test, separate registration fee has to be paid for each test.
3. Test is of two hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying one mark for each question. The cut-off mark in the Common Entrance Test is 25% , in case of SC/ST there is no minimum marks.
4. The examination will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon in the morning session and 2.00PM to 4.00 PM for the afternoon sessions as per the Time Table given in Test Schedule.
5. The Question Papers will be in English only, syllabus of each test paper is given at annexure-A
6. Candidates must ensure themselves that they have chosen the correct test paper, which qualifies them to become eligible to seek admission to the specific program they are interested in. The details of the courses offered by the Universities along with specified eligibility for each course and test to be written is given at annexure-B. Candidates should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria for admission into the preferred program as given in annexure-B
7. TSPGECET 2016 will be held at two different regional centers in the state i.e., Hyderabad and Warangal.
8. As per AICTE the eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy is 50% in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). Further, the qualifying degree (Professional courses) obtained under distance mode must have AICTE/DEC approval.
9. Candidate should satisfy local/non local status requirements as per AP GO Ms No 153.
10. The Hall-Tickets are to be downloaded from the website www.tspgecet.org. Without Hall-Tickets the candidate will not be allowed into the test centre.
11. Separate Notification will be issued for admission based on GATE/GPAT Score.
12. The candidate can apply for multiple tests. However, separate registration fee must be paid for each test.
13. Appearing in the test does not guarantee admission. The candidate has to satisfy all the requirements at the time of admission.
