HOLIDAYS- General Holidays and Optional Holidays for the year 2017 – Declared.

Telangana Government usually declares public holidays(2017) for special occasions such as republic day 2017, and Independence Day 2017. These holidays are applicable to both private and government employees of the state. Along with these public holidays, For the year 2017 .Telangana state general administration department announced the holidays on 222.11.2016 of total 47 days with 25 days as public holidays and another 22 days as optional holidays for the year 2017. These all holidays will include the festivals, general holidays 2017 and optional holidays 2017.

Telangana State Govt has released General Holidays/Public Holidays 2017 and Optional Holidays List for the year 2017.TS Govt published in the next issue of Telangana extra-ordinary Gazette for the purpose of General Holidays 2017 and Optional Holidays 2017.TS Govt released Go.No 2529 Dated 22.11.2016 and go copy kept at TS govt Go's official website www.goir.telangana.gov.in.The following list are TS Public Holidays 2017 and Optional Holidays 2017 List for the calendar year 2017.

The following Notification shall be published in the next issue of Telangana extra-ordinary Gazette:

NOTIFICATION

• The Government of Telangana hereby notifies that during the year 2017 the days specified in Annexure-I (Part I) shall be observed as General Holidays by all the State Government Offices while the days ts general holidays lists 2017,telangana public holidays go 2018,optional holidays in telangana,general holidays in telangana 2017 2018,ts 1st term holidays dasara festival holidays 2017 2018,ts 2nd term holidays in telangana 2018 2017,ts go2529,ts go.no 2529 downloadfor other occasions/ festivals which fall on Sundays are shown in Annexure-I (Part II) and also notify Optional Holidays for State Government offices as shown in Annexure-II( Part I) while the days for other occasions/ festivals falling on Sundays are shown in Annexure II (Part II).
• The State Government directs that all offices under State Government shall remain closed on all Sundays and Second Saturdays in all the months during the year 2017.

• The Government also directs that General Holidays shall not ipso-facto apply to the Industrial Establishment and Public Undertakings under the control of the State Government, the workmen engaged in Public Works Departments and Educational Institutions in this State. Separate orders regarding the festivals/occasions when these Institutions observe holidays shall be issued by the concerned Administrative Department of the Secretariat.
• If there is any change of date in respect of Idu’l Fitar, Idu’l Zuha, Muharram and Id-e-Milad as per the moon sight or any other holiday declared now, it shall be announced through electronic/print media.
