TS Polycet 2017 Notification Apply Online Telangana :TS POLYCET 2017 is a Polytechnic common entrance test conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad for admission into Diploma level programmes conducted in Government,aided, Private unaided polytechnics and polytechnics run in existing Private unaided Engineering Colleges.

Every candidate desirous of seeking admission into Engineering/Non - Engineering Diploma courses can apply through online for TS POLYCET 2017.No separate application form for admission is prescribed. The filled in application for TS POLYCET 2016 itself is an application for admission.

For admission into the Diploma Courses like Hotel Management and Catering Technology, D. Pharmacy, the entry qualification is 10 + 2 is the entry qualification Candidates need not appear TS POLYCET 2017 for admission into these courses. A separate notification will be issued for admission to these Diploma Courses.

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana, Hyderabad will conduct “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering / Non Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics / institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics / Institutions running as 2nd shift in Pvt. Engineering Colleges) in Telangana State for the academic year 2017-2018.

TS Polycet 2017 Eligibility  Criteria

1. Candidate shall be an Indian National
2. Candidate should belong to the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (w) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and its subsequent amendments.
3. Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained atleast 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
4. Candidates belonging to NIOS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by Telangana State SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject. 
5. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2016, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2016.
6. There is no age restriction for appearing for TS POLYCET 2016. However maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship, the guidelines prescribed in Memo No.10537/SW(Edn.2)/2011, and issued from time to time by Social Welfare (Edn.) Department shall apply.
7. Mere appearing for TS POLYCET 2017 and obtaining a merit rank does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfills the requirements laid down for admission.

How to Apply TS Polycet 2017

State Board of Technical Education & Training, Telangana, Hyderabad has made arrangements to file online applications form at various AP online/Helpline centres/ through payment gate way. The detailed list of these centres is available at http://sbtetap.gov.in website. In order to file application through these centers a filing fee of Rs.330/- (Rupees Three hundred and thirty only) (Excluding ts polycet 2016 online Application Cost) has to be paid to the operator by the candidate. 

The detailed procedure of filling up of the ts polycet 2017 online application form is available in the instructions booklet supplied along with the Application Form. Candidates are advised to read these instructions carefully before filling-up the Application duly filled in the ts polycet 2016 online application form is to be given to the Operator for filing Online.
