Polytechnic/POLYCET Examination is conducted every year for the students who are looking for Admissions in to the Engineering / Non Engineering Diploma Courses.

Later based on the performance of the candidates in the POLYCET exam, the selection will take place for the Diploma courses in Engineering and Non Engineering / Technology offered at Polytechnics / institutions (including Aided and Un aided Private Polytechnics/ Institutions running as 2nd shift in private Engineering colleges for the academic year 2016-2017

AP Polycet 2016 Eligibility Criteria 

1. Candidate who belongs to Indian National can apply AP POLYCET-2016
2. Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to by the Board of Secondary Education. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2016, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2016

Candidates seeking admission into Inter I year in 10 AP Residential Junior Colleges for the academic year 2016-17 should apply for APRJC Common Entrance Examination through online by visiting aprs.cgg.gov.in.

Date of Examination: 12 .05.2016 from 10.00 am to 12.30pm

Examination Centres: District Head quarters (Candidate may choose any  District to appear for the Test)

Examination Fee : Rs.150/-

The test is of objective type with 2½ hrs duration for 150 marks (50 marks for each subject).

The candidates have to mark their answers in the OMR sheets. Model Question papers are available in the Websites: www.apresidential.gov.in or aprs.cgg.gov.in. The question papers of APRJC CET will be based on 10th standard in AP State Syllabus for subjects and English will be General English.
